I accompanied my wife to her pre-booked appointment, where we were informed that trainee student doctors were present. We agreed they could speak with her about her symptoms before she saw the resident doctor. The students were thorough, professional, and very pleasant.
When the doctor arrived, he was his usual attentive and helpful self. There was ample time for my wife to ask her questions, both to the students and the doctor, and I was also able to participate.
At the end of the appointment, when the doctor asked if there was anything else, I inquired whether I could ask him something. He kindly agreed and offered to see me after finishing his scheduled appointments that evening. True to his word, he took the time to sit with me and discuss my concerns.
I’m incredibly grateful for his attention and advice, which I am now following up on. Getting a GP appointment when you need one isn’t always easy, so I truly appreciate the opportunity he gave me—something that might not have happened at another practice.
