Just as the system for urgent appointments at this surgery seemed to be improving, they changed it again. Now, patients must fill in an online form. How accessible is this for ethnic minorities or the disabled community? It feels like a discriminatory practice, and it’s shocking that this is happening in an NHS establishment. I submitted a form in the morning due to some concerning symptoms, but the surgery only responded at 18:11 in the evening, directing me to attend a walk-in centre instead. When I called, the receptionist seemed eager to end the conversation, repeatedly saying "okay" without actually addressing my concerns or offering any real help. He eventually told me I’d have to submit another form the next day. Why implement a system that doesn’t work? Where is the care and consideration for patients?
