While traveling abroad for work, I discovered that the roaming service on my postpaid line was not functioning. Upon contacting customer service, I was informed that a restriction had been placed due to an unpaid bill.
However, the customer portal clearly showed that all bills had been paid. Despite this, the Ooredoo representative insisted that I provide proof of payment.
The result? A frustrating back-and-forth with no resolution.
The customer service is deplorable, staffed by underqualified personnel. The company’s mismanagement unfairly penalizes loyal customers, who understandably turn to competitors.
Ooredoo has been an awful experience where indifference appears to be the standard. Avoid it at all costs.
