For two days, I tried to get through on the phone, but the lines were constantly busy. On the third day, after over an hour of redialing, I finally got through, only to be told there were no appointments left. On the fourth day, I followed the receptionist’s advice from a few weeks earlier and went to the surgery as soon as it opened to book an appointment in person. However, I was told, “Sorry, you can’t make an appointment in person anymore—you need to call us.” So, I stood in the surgery entrance, repeatedly redialing to reach the very surgery I was standing in. When I finally got through, I was once again told all appointments were gone, but I could visit Darnall Surgery that evening. Since I couldn’t get to Darnall, I was left without any help again.
