Your engineers drilled through an existing hole that contained my TV cable, damaging it and causing me to lose TV service for a day. Additionally, they leaned their ladder against my satellite dish, knocking it out of alignment. As a result, I had to arrange for a Sky technician to come out and fix the dish, as well as replace the severely damaged cable. According to the Sky engineer, it’s a common issue for Openreach to repeatedly drill through the same hole.
To make matters worse, your team left screws on my driveway, which could have punctured my tyres if driven over, and cables were left scattered across my garden. Furthermore, they didn’t bring the correct length of cable to connect from their box inside to my internet box, and I was told I would need to purchase one myself.
Now, after the Sky engineer repaired the TV cable, the fibre connection has stopped working. The Sky engineer suspects a faulty weld at the external box, so I’ve had to schedule another visit from Openreach to resolve this issue. Overall, the workmanship has been extremely poor and has caused significant inconvenience.
