Train Pal is a dependable and user-friendly platform. I’ve been using it since 2023 and often recommend it to others. One of its best features is the absence of booking fees when purchasing tickets. I regret not buying my railcard through them, as the official Railcard app has been unreliable—my photo didn’t transfer when I switched to a new phone.
However, I’m not a fan of the ‘spin to win’ widgets, which feel like they promote gambling. I avoid claiming prizes because there’s always a catch. A professional app selling train tickets shouldn’t need to include such gimmicky features.
