This has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a doctor and receptionist. I’ve been a patient at this surgery for over 20 years, back when it was run by Dr. Chunduri and Dr. Nisa, both of whom were excellent doctors, and I never had any issues. Unfortunately, since Dr. Chunduri retired and was replaced by Dr. Abid Bottom, the care has significantly declined.

I developed an infection on my leg and sent in pictures as requested. Dr. Abid Bottom said he would refer me to a specialist. Three weeks passed with no confirmation. I contacted the surgery and spoke to the receptionist, who assured me she would pass the information on to the doctor. Another week went by, still with no confirmation. I called again and was told it would be urgently flagged, yet two weeks later, there’s still no response.

This level of care is unacceptable. Dr. Bottom is not fulfilling his responsibilities, and this negligence is a disservice to patients and the NHS. I am now considering contacting Dr. Nisa at Percy Road Medical Centre, as she is the only doctor who genuinely cares about her patients. I sincerely hope Dr. Bottom is reported and held accountable for this lack of care.
